I just had to come to Google to give a very happy and satisfied review. My and hubby and I was pleased with our Mega Meal tonight. Everything (racks of ribs pulled pork baked beans okra garlic bread and peach cobbler) that we got was delicious and on point. It was such a mega portion we will be having it for leftovers tomorrow night. We r sure to return. I wish I had taken pics.

Wow. This has been my worst trip to this restaurant, by far. The bottles of sauce at the table have always been a little watered down. But today, it was like one part sauce, 10 parts water. It was super runny, and you could barely taste the sauce. First time here I've felt like I've just wasted money. Also, the seats and tables were all very sticky. We tried 4 before we found one that was tolerable.

My Fiancé and I went there a month ago on our way to a Dr's appointment.. OMG WOW, everything we ate was absolutely amazing.. I got the Smothered Sandwich plate with Beans and Slaw, He got the Ribs Plate with Okra and Beans.. We also got the Homemade Peach Cobbler.. Like I said, everything was soooo good.. You won't be disappointed at all with this place.. Definitely recommend 👌

Tried the burgers for first time,and very happy that its fresh meat and not frozen! Very yummy! The girl at register remembered my order and name, which made it faster and easier! Thank u Shane's for the great lunches!

This Athens Georgia location of Shane's Rib Shack is the best! Their location is open with a lot of dining area, the staff is super friendly, and they always seem to get our order correct! Not only that, they are generous with their portions and they have really good tea. Their unsweet tea is tasty without being bitter, and their peach tea is super duper peachy keen! I've been to another Shane's location where the tea was both bitter and the peach flavor was watered down, so I really appreciate that this Shane's location is mindful of the quality of their tea. Our food came quickly. It was all super delicious. The fries were perfectly crispy, the meat portion was generous, and the garlic bread was toasted to perfection today. I also love that they brought me two portions of honey mustard when I asked for some to dip my French fries in! (It's really good. Really, it is! Don't judge.) So they are generous with their condiments as well as their portions. All in all, this is the best Shane's location in the area as far as I'm concerned. I will drive here rather than go to the skimpy portioned, bitter tea Bethlehem, GA location any day! 🤣😉🙃
